Plushie Beholder

Chibi amigurumi beholder plushie. ... I designed this for the Mom's Basement April team contest. The theme was Dungeons and Dragons. Beholders are one of the quintessential creatures in D&D, plus I thought it'd be a fun challenge to try and make a nasty monster into a cutesy (albeit still creepy) amigurumi plushie.

EDIT: (more info because I was tired yesterday when I posted and forgot to add this stuff). Most of the beholder was made with Lionbrand Homespun yarn (Wild Fire color). This is something I will never ever do again. Trying to make a plushie with this yarn was a very tedious experience. So, this exact plushie will not be added to my art table or Etsy shop. I am considering putting it in Animazement's art auction. There is a fair chance I will make more beholders if I can find a suitable color yarn that's not so fuzzy. Since the yarn was a bulkier weight that what I normally use for my plushies, the body of this one measures approximately 4.5" in diameter (as opposed to the usual 3"). The eye-stalks have pipe cleaner in the center so they are poseable.
